As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a healthcare location. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and by supporting emergency response activities as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution according to site guidelines.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to report any unusual conditions or potential hazards.Document observations and incidents using appropriate reporting methods as outlined by Allied Universal and site procedures.Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and visitors to maintain a professional presence and support a welcoming environment.Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols for access control, visitor management, and incident escalation as required.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Must be at least 21 years of age.Customer service experience is preferred.A Guard Card or license is preferred.Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
