As a Security Officer - Government Facility Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff and visitors at the location.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe any irregularities.Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote security-related compliance.Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations for Allied Universal and site management.Assist with crowd management and directional guidance for visitors as needed, supporting the orderly flow of people through the location.Collaborate with Allied Universal team members, site staff, and local authorities as required to address security-related concerns and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
