What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations at the government location in a calm and problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the facilities and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.Monitor and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related concerns.Work closely with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership to address security-related matters specific to the government environment.Document incidents, observations, and activities thoroughly and accurately following Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.An armed guard card or armed guard license is required.Must be at least 21 years of age.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
