As a Security Officer - Front Desk in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate residential community, you will welcome residents and guests, manage access control and visitor logs, monitor cameras and alarms, and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Staff the front desk in a professional manner, greeting and directing visitors, answering phone calls and/or radio traffic, and supporting basic tenant relations requests within post orders.Assist with access control by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or guest registration, issuing temporary credentials when authorized, and maintaining sign-in logs.Monitor alarms, intercoms, and/or CCTV systems as assigned, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to property management and/or responding personnel.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, and resident complaints, and coordinate notifications per site procedures.Document incidents, observations, and service requests in daily activity logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details.Support move-ins, move-outs, deliveries, and contractor access by confirming authorization and guiding individuals to approved routes and staging areas.Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or loitering in lobby and common-area entry points through attentive presence, consistent access procedures, and timely reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
