Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.Control access at gates, doors, and other entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, monitoring visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries and exits per site procedures.Complete reports and logs for patrols, incidents, and daily activities, and communicate observations to supervision and/or client representatives according to post orders.Minimum Requirements:
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
