Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or operational concerns.Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials when required, and assist with visitor and contractor check-in processes consistent with site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts according to post orders.Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident reports, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and client representatives while supporting a professional environment at a technology and communications location.Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
