Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for potential issues.Monitor entrances, exits, and general areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any irregularities.Document and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.Work collaboratively with staff and visitors to support a secure environment within the healthcare location.Remain alert and observant while on patrol, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Alarm panel experience is preferred.A valid guard card or license is preferred.Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.A valid state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
