You will conduct routine patrols across platforms, facilities, and surrounding areas, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and strong customer service. You will also help manage access control points and report observations promptly, bringing agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and authorized visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.Conduct armed patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and assist with queue management and directional guidance during peak travel periods.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and public agencies as needed.Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and observed conditions, and communicate updates through radio and/or other approved systems in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.Minimum Requirements:
Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
