What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential issues.Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment for students, faculty, and visitors.Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity according to site procedures.Assist with crowd management and/or access control during special events or peak times at the location.Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as directed in the event of an incident.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field are required.Access control or badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
