Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate internal contacts and/or public response agencies as directed.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or authorizations when required, and document unusual activity according to post orders.Complete routine patrol logs, incident reports, and shift pass-down information using written and/or electronic systems, and communicate observations promptly to supervision.Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.PPO#14417
