What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal training and protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.Observe and report any security-related incidents or hazards to the appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents.Assist with access control procedures for employees, visitors, and vehicles entering and exiting the location.Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the shift to help to deter potential security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age.A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
