As a Security Officer - Badge Issuance Desk in Bethlehem, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage production location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials and badges, and log visitors, deliveries, and contractor activity. You will remain visible at key access areas, conduct routine rounds as needed, and report security-related concerns with clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.Control access at entry points by verifying identification, managing sign-in and/or badging, issuing temporary credentials when authorized, and directing visitors to the proper check-in areas.Screen and process inbound and outbound traffic, including coordinating with receiving and shipping operations, checking delivery documentation, and monitoring gate activity to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or removal of property.Monitor alarms, access control systems, and cameras when assigned, document unusual activity, and report concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing timely notifications, completing reports, and supporting follow-up actions as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.Customer Service Experience is preferred.Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
