As a Security Officer - Armed Residential Patrol Driver in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol professional supporting a residential community. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with calm, clear communication. You will document observations, coordinate with onsite teams and local responders as needed, and deliver customer service that reflects our agile, reliable, innovative culture and integrity-driven teamwork.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential streets, amenity areas, and perimeter access points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.Control access at gates and other entry points by verifying credentials, monitoring visitor entry, and directing traffic flow in accordance with post orders.Respond to alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; request assistance from law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.Complete timely reports and daily activity logs, document security-related observations and incidents, and communicate relevant information to onsite management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or a college degree in criminal justice.Be 21+ years of age.Graduate of Public Safety AcademyA valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
