As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Retail Site in Corsicana, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail location as an armed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and professionalism. You will support store teams and guests with customer-focused service while documenting activity and reporting issues. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, team members, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, noting and reporting unusual activity and/or hazards.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, coordinating with store management, and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.Monitor entrances, high-traffic areas, and merchandise zones to help to deter theft and/or disorderly conduct, and assist with queue management and customer concerns when requested.Complete required documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift handoff information, and communicate key observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.Be at least 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.Customer service experience is preferred.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
