What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and post orders, and/or assisting with emergency response activities as directed.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, grounds, and perimeter, checking doors, gates, loading areas, and critical infrastructure spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity.Monitor alarms, CCTV, and other site systems, assess unusual conditions, and take appropriate action within scope, including notifying site contacts and/or dispatching public emergency services when needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing verbal direction, documenting observations, and escalating concerns through the chain of command.Complete detailed reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and coordinate with on-site personnel and Allied Universal leadership to support continuity of operations and adherence to site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Hold a CPO certification.Possess an armed guard card/license.Be at least 21 years of age.CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
