As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Driver in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to situations, document observations, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, and you will work as part of an agile, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Provide customer service to location staff and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed by post orders.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.Control access to restricted areas by checking identification, managing visitor entry processes, and/or monitoring entry and exit points in accordance with site requirements.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with on-site personnel and/or public agency partners when needed.Carry and handle assigned equipment, including an authorized firearm, in accordance with training and post orders, and complete required documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and/or shift activity reports.Minimum Requirements:
Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.Be at least 21 years of age.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.CPR/First Aid is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
