As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Security in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

What You’ll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sitesSupport operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and educationReceive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teamsDeliver consistent, professional security presence and customer serviceBe ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.Observe and report any suspicious activities or persons encountered during patrols.Follow all protocols for armed posts as required by Allied Universal and the location.Communicate clearly with team members, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel as necessary.Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken accurately and in a timely manner according to company and location protocols.Assist visitors, employees, and/or the general public by providing information and direction as appropriate while maintaining security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
