As a Security Officer - Armed Access Control in Fort Towson, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner at the utilities location.Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential concerns.Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles in accordance with established procedures for the utilities environment.Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols or while monitoring access.Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal leadership to communicate security-related observations and/or concerns.Support emergency response protocols and assist first responders as directed in the event of an incident at the utilities location.

Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card or license is required.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
