As a Security Officer - Aero Defense Site Patrol - Full Time in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This post is primarily a driving position, requiring you to navigate the site and monitor various areas to support a secure atmosphere. You will also interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. What You’ll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious activity within the location.Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as required during incidents or drills.Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.A valid driver’s license is preferred for positions that are primarily driving and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
