Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Security Officer, you will be expected to provide a reasonable safe and secure environment for all who enter Dignity Health's properties and to assure the physical security of buildings and grounds. It is expected that the Security Officer will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Dignity Health's Core Values and Humankindness. You will also support Dignity Health's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.
Patrol on foot and by vehicle the facility and grounds, all perimeter buildings and postsRegulate parking by employees and visitors and escorting employeesResponds to calls for assistance in a timely and prudent manner using due regard and exercising Safety Protocols at all times. Assistance calls include, but are not limited to: control of violent or unruly patients and visitors, crimes committed on hospital property
Report and document all accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety/fire hazards and other security related situations.
Job Requirements
Minimum:
High School Diploma or GED.Six (6) months experience as a Security Officer in a hospital or healthcare setting, prior law enforcement or military service; or One (1) year experience as a Security Officer.Valid AZ State Driver's License.American Heart Association-issued BLS card within 90 days of hire.Preferred:
