About the Role

We're looking for a committed Security Officer to join our team in Gloucester. In this role, you'll provide essential security services, including site protection, patrolling, CCTV monitoring, and visitor management.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered, you must:

Hold a valid SIA Licence Be a British citizen Have at least 5 years of checkable work history

Key Responsibilities

Control access for authorised personnel Monitor site activity via Access Control Systems and CCTV Conduct patrols and daily alarm checks Respond to alarms and manage visitor reception Provide out-of-hours MDL Service Desk support Perform random searches and deter unauthorised entry Handle suspect packages per agreed procedures Deliver security services across two sites Support colleagues and cover absences Undertake ad-hoc tasks as directed

Person Specification

Previous security experience helpful but not essential SIA Licence holder and CCTV trained Strong communication skills and IT literate Customer-focused with a commitment to protecting people and assets Ability to meet KPIs and SLAs Willingness to undertake additional training for continuous development Why Join Us?
