Key Responsibilities
Facility & Warehouse Security Management
Oversee end-to-end daily security operations across the factory and all associated warehouses.Manage loss prevention activities, guard force operations, access control, perimeter protection, and CCTV monitoring.Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of all physical security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control, technical infrastructure).Maintain audit readiness and ensure full compliance with PMI security standards and local regulations.
Team & Contractor Leadership
Manage approximately 100 security personnel, primarily third‑party guards.Lead and develop team leaders and contracted personnel; conduct performance reviews, training, briefings, and discipline when required.Validate guard rosters, post orders, KPIs, and overall service quality.
Incident & Emergency Management
Lead responses to alarms, incidents, and emergencies across factory and warehouse locations.Conduct incident investigations, prepare reports, and drive corrective actions.Ensure strong situational awareness and emergency preparedness throughout the facility.
Risk Management & Compliance
Conduct regular security risk assessments and implement mitigation measures for factory and warehouse operations.Identify, evaluate, and reduce operational security risks.Support local and global audits, inspections, compliance checks, and continuous improvement plans.
Asset & Cargo Protection
Implement strong security controls to prevent theft, pilferage, diversion, or loss of materials and finished goods.Coordinate inbound and outbound cargo protection measures and ensure tight oversight of warehouse security.Monitor high‑value or sensitive goods throughout handling and storage processes.
Reporting & Governance
Maintain security logs, access reports, incident files, daily activity summaries, and investigation documentation.Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for factory management and regional/global security.
Additional Operational Responsibilities
Provide guidance on event security, visitor management, and travel security protocols.Maintain high field visibility within production and warehouse zones.Demonstrate flexibility to support shift-based operations, emergencies, audits, and unplanned incidents.
Event & Travel Security Oversight
Provide guidance and support on event security, visitor management, and travel security protocols as needed.
Field Presence & Flexibility
As a facility‑based role in İzmir, maintain high visibility on the production floor and within warehouse zones.Demonstrate high flexibility with working hours due to operational needs (shift-based activities, emergencies, audits, or incident management).
Responsibilities
Minimum 10 years of security management or corporate security experience.Minimum 3 years directly managing security teams or large-scale security operations.Strong background in manufacturing or supply chain security is essential.Hands-on experience with factory security systems, warehouse security processes, and operational risk frameworks.Strong leadership and contractor management capabilities.Solid understanding of physical security technologies and incident management procedures.Ability to operate effectively in high-tempo environments while remaining structured and composed.Experience with global organizations is a strong advantage.Advanced English is required.Full-time onsite presence in İzmir.High flexibility in availability and working hours based on operational needs.One more thing at Philip Morris we see equal pay for equal work between woman and men as the baseline standard for equality.
