Your ‘day to day’:

 

The Security Lead is responsible for defining, implementing, and overseeing the organization’s security strategy to protect people, assets, data, and operations. This role provides leadership across security domains, ensures compliance with applicable regulations and with the Company Principle and Practices, Management Program, manages risk, and drives continuous improvement of security controls and incident response capabilities.

 

As a Security Lead you will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, partner closely with cross‑functional teams, and lead by example in building a strong security culture.

The role combines operational leadership, advanced analytical skills, and a strong understanding of the local risk and regulatory environment, with the objective of protecting people, facilities, assets, and business continuity.

This position requires a strong data‑driven mindset, the ability to assess physical security risks, and the capability to translate complex analyses into clear operational decisions and management‑level recommendations.

   

Your Responsibilities: 

 

Define and maintain the organization’s security strategy, policies, and standards. Contribute to the production and the maintenance of local security/safety guidelines, procedures and emergency response plans. Supervise their implementation and oversight.Conduct regular risk assessments and translate risk into actionable mitigation plans. Provide input for the risk mitigation action plan. Execute/supervise the mitigation action plan execution.Respond to and report security & market/fleet safety incidents as per the program requirements. Support the root cause analysis and security and/or safety-related investigations, and the corrective action plan implementation. Perform/supervise yearly program health checks, ensure gaps/non-conformities are addressed with controls, and follow up implementation.Deliver/supervise all security, market safety training programs. Produce and keep up-to-date training records as per PMI. Seek and consolidate participants' feedback in order to improve the training programs, and security/safety culture. Provide input for the security/safety briefs, alerts, instructions and refreshers. Ensure that all Corporate or local security & market safety programs, documents, plans and training are duly communicated, remain current and available to local staff.Gather, process and consolidate all security/safety data including incident reports, KPIs, audit reports, budget expenses. Review and validate all aggregated data before uploading them into reporting systems. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of Security & Market Safety-related incident and events reporting, to provide focused and detailed reports; escalate trends and critical issues to appropriate levels of management.Ensure the effectiveness of physical security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection)Develop, implement and test emergency response protocols in order to protect people, business, assets and reputation from natural and man-made disasters. Review and keep up-to-date protocols on a yearly basis. Manage security & market/fleet safety incident investigation, analysis, reporting and retain incident records in order to identify patterns, causes and provide guidance/ recommendations to prevent incident reoccurrence. Ability to mobilize as a part of a security/safety response team to  incidents / events. Select, appoint and manage local third party service providers in conjunction with procurement and Security & Market Safety Management. Ensure third party service provider's performance consistently meet all PMI requirements and standards, by developing a comprehensive KPI measurement and monitoring system, regular performance review, and effective reward/penalty mechanism, while at the same time maintaining effective coordination and service deliveries. Ensure compliance with applicable Italian regulations (e.g. TULPS, private security regulations, occupational health and safety)Ensure alignment between security objectives and business goalsCoordinate with internal teams and external partners during security events

 

 

Who we’re looking for: 

 

 Minimum 5+ years of experience in corporate security management,Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Engineering (Industrial, Safety, Civil, or related fields), Political Science, International Relations or Strategic Studies, related disciplines with a focus on risk or security managementPost‑graduate education or master’s degree in: Security Management, Risk Management, Criminology or Intelligence (preferred)Fluency in English and ItalianProven experience managing cross‑functional security initiatives.Proficiency in security technologies, protocols and policiesFamiliarity with legal regulations regarding securityExperience managing security in complex environments (industrial, retail, logistics, corporate HQs, etc.).Leadership and decision‑making under pressureStrategic thinking with strong execution capabilityExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAnalytical mindset and attention to detailStrong sense of ownership and accountability
