Job DescriptionThe Security Manager cum PRO is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel safety and security, ensuring a secure environment for guests, employees, and assets. Additionally, he manages government-related processes, including visa applications, renewals, labor permits, and other legal documentation. This dual role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and an in-depth understanding of UAE laws and hospitality security standards.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Security Management:
Oversee and manage all security operations, including shift schedules, patrols, and emergency response procedures.Ensure the hotel is compliant with local civil defense, fire safety, and security regulations.Conduct regular risk assessments and implement preventive measures to reduce security risks.Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and coordinate law enforcement when necessary.Train and supervise the in-house security team, ensuring that security staff adhere to hotel standards and protocols.Monitor security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems) and report any irregularities.Conduct regular fire drills and emergency response training in coordination with department headsPublic Relations Officer (PRO) Duties:
Manage and process all hotel-related documentation with government entities such as the Ministry of Labor, Immigration, DTCM, Civil Defense, Police, and Municipality.Handle all visa-related matters, including new visa applications, renewals, cancellations, medical tests, and Emirates ID registrations for hotel employees.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UAE labor and immigration laws and ensure hotel compliance.Represent the hotel in government offices, police departments, courts, and other official bodies when required.Assist employees with legal matters related to residency, employment, and documentation.Maintain records of all PRO activities and documentation.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in security management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar dual-role capacity within the UAECertifications: Certified Security Professional is preferred.A valid UAE Driving License is required.Must hold or be eligible for PSBD/SIRA license as per UAE regulations.Additional InformationSkills & Competencies:
