A Security Lobby Agent keeps constant vigilance of activity on and around the hotel property and reports and manages incidents with the intent of ensuring the safety of Guests, Team Members, and others.

What will I be doing?

 

As a Lobby Security Agent, you are responsible for the safety and security of all Guests, Team Members and contractors, and visitors while at the hotel. A Lobby Security Agent is also responsible for the safety and security of the hotel premises. Specifically, the Lobby Security Agent will perform the following tasks at the highest level of service:

Maintain the security and safety of the hotel, Guests, and Team Members and their property by providing constant vigilance in and around the hotel premises.Greet guests and visitors with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a welcoming first impression.Monitor guest behavior discreetly to identify potential security concerns without disrupting the guest experience.Operate X-ray machines or handheld scanners to inspect guest, staff, and vendor belongings as per hotel security protocols.Ensure the scanning process is discreet, respectful, and aligned with the brand’s hospitality standards.Run routine inspections of the hotel premisesAct promptly in the event of a circumstance that requires attentionEnsure all firefighting equipment requirements are met and maintainedAssist Management in dealing with any incidents that arise within the hotelFollow all Occupational Health and Safety rules upheld by the hotel

Previous security experience, preferably working within an industry which monitored large volumes of people movementCurrent and working knowledge (proof of valid qualifications required) of fire, safety, and first aidExcellent inter-personal and communication skillsExcellent personal presentation
