Job Description:
The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring systems, enforcing access control, and responding to incidents. This role supports 24/7 operations and works closely with internal teams and external partners to protect people, property, and operations.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and respond to camera, access control, and alarm systems; coordinate with internal and external partners to resolve incidents.Respond to emergency and non-emergency situations, providing on-site security support and coordinating response efforts.Document and report incidents in accordance with company and departmental policies.Manage visitor, contractor, and vendor check-in; issue badges and enforce access control ID policies.Inspect and track trailers and containers in and out of the facility.Conduct regular security patrols to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and unauthorized activity.Operate radios, phones, and other communication devices to support security operations.Maintain readiness for emergency response; assist with evacuations and employee accountability as part of the site response team.Support 24/7 operations with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.Education: High School
