What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or access credentials, and documenting visitor activity per site procedures.Complete detailed reports of patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate key information during shift turnover to support continuity of security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
