As a Security Officer - Healthcare Environment in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more.

As a Healthcare Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will be stationed throughout the healthcare facility and will be greeting visitors, patients & staff along with security-related tasks. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents and provides a welcoming point of contact for patients, staff, and guests. You will communicate clearly, respond to inquiries, and support a positive environment by upholding company values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Position Type: Full Time & Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist patients, staff, and visitors at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence.Carry out security procedures and follow site-specific policies relevant to an healthcare environment.Monitor access to the building, verifying identification and managing visitor logs as required.Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Communicate with healthcare facility personnel and emergency responders when appropriate.Maintain awareness of activities in the lobby and entry areas to help to deter unauthorized access.Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and offering directions or information about the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Maryland Security Professional Guard Card required upon hire.Minimum of 2 years of security experience preferred.Must be at least 21 years of age.Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred upon interview/offer.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.COVID and FLU vaccinations required at this site
