What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address security-related events.Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment at the location.Monitor and report any suspicious behavior or activity encountered during patrols, escalating situations as required by site protocols.Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site representatives to support ongoing security-related operations and communication.Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.Maintain a professional presence while interacting with the public, staff, and visitors within the government location.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Must possess an armed guard card or armed guard license as required by applicable laws and regulations.Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
