We are currently hiring **two permanent security guards** and **one floater** to join our team for this upcoming site. We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated individual to ensure the safety and security of public facilities. As a **Security Guard** , you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through various tasks and duties across the site. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, and strong communication skills in **English, French is a strong asset.** **Position Details:** + **Shifts:** Monday to Friday, 0700–1800 (11-hour shifts) + **Guard 1:** 3 shifts per week (33 hours/week) + **Guard 2:** 2 shifts per week (22 hours/week) + **Floater:** On-call/training position with potential for additional coverage + **Convenient Location:** Easily accessible via public transit + **Free Parking:** On-site parking available at no cost (subject to change) + **You must indicate your preferred shifts on your resume.** **What We’re Looking For:** + **Excellent Customer Service Skills:** This is a client-facing role, similar to concierge services + **Professional Appearance:** Uniform includes dress pants and blazer (provided), must have safety certified footwear for patrols + **Tech-Savvy Individuals:** Comfortable using software to issue ID passes and perform other digital tasks + **Dependability & Flexibility:** specially for the floater role **Requirements:** + Valid Ontario Security Guard License + Ability to obtain and maintain reliability security clearance + Strong communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to work independently in a corporate environment **START DATE:** 09 Feb 2026, training will be provided prior to the start date. \#AF-EasternCanada Securitas employees come from all walks of life, bringing with them a variety of distinctive skills and perspectives.
