Security Generalist

 

 

Your Tasks

Monitor the physical security infrastructure, including CCTV systems, access control systems, alarms, and physical barriers to safeguard the facility. 

Coordinate with external security vendors, ensuring contracted security personnel meet operational requirements and adhere to company policies. 

Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend improvements. 

Enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards. 

Monitor and review access control logs and incident reports. 

Assist in the investigation of security breaches and incidents. 

Conduct guard training on security protocols, emergency procedures, and the proper use of security systems. 

Collaborate with other key departments within Arvato sites. 

Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in physical security and recommend necessary upgrades or changes.

The role may require occasional evening or weekend hours to address security issues or perform system checks.

Will need to travel to all Louisville Campus sites.

Some travel outside of the Louisville Campus may be required. 

 

Your Profile

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in physical security or a related field. 

Knowledge of physical security systems, including surveillance, access control, alarm systems, and emergency response procedures. 

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. 

Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

Must be able to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
