Provide customer service to clients and visitors at transportation locations by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the transportation environment.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for any irregularities.Observe and report any unusual circumstances or potential security-related concerns in and around the transportation facility.Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as directed by site-specific protocols.Maintain clear and detailed logs of patrols, incidents and interactions encountered during each shift.Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and/or local authorities as appropriate to address security-related matters.Support Allied Universal and client policies, demonstrating a commitment to customer service and teamwork in all activities.Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age.A valid guard card or security license is preferred.Experience in a primarily driving post is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
