Job Description A large healthcare company in Philadelphia is looking to hire a Security Engineer for their growing team to help mitigate the risk of the health systems vulnerability to cybersecurity attacks. Participates in the implementation of the organization's strategic goals for information security. Participates in developing security standards/best practices for the organization. Contributes to the development of strategies to respond to/recover from a security breach. Identifies/Installs/Manages applications necessary to protect sensitive information as needed or identified by the CISO. Monitors systems/networks for security breaches/intrusions using the SIEM system. In the event of a breach, participates in incident response activities to minimize the impact; assists with the technical/forensic investigation into how the breach occurred/extent of the damage. This person will be responsible for blue and purple security activies (see below). Skills and Requirements - 5+ years of well rounded Cyber Security experience in the following areas: incident repsonse, intrusion dectection, vulnerability management, firewall, threat hunging, data protection, antivirus software, etc. - Experience with any SIEM tools (MS Sentinel preferred) - Hands on antivirus software experience (MS Defender preferred) - Vulnerability Management software experience (Tenable/Nessus preferred) Bachelors Degree in Computer, Information Sciences, Business Administration, or similar
