Guaranteed 40 hours per week

What does a Dispatcher in Toronto do?

Monitor and oversee all communications within the assigned operational area

Coordinate with mobile patrol units, static guards, supervisors, and clients

Receive, assess, and assign work instructions based on priority and resource availability

Maintain accurate logs, dispatch records, and incident documentation

Relay important updates such as road closures, traffic issues, or operational changes

Organize and allocate resources efficiently during regular operations and incidents

Assist with emergency response coordination when required

Qualifications to become a Dispatcher

High school diploma or equivalent

Strong communication skills (English required; bilingualism an asset if applicable)

Ability to work overnight 20:00–08:00 continental rotational schedule

Strong computer skills and ability to learn dispatching/monitoring software

Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to remain calm during high-pressure situations

Eligible to work in Canada

Ability to reliably commute to our North York Control Centre

Comfortable working in a fast-paced control centre environment
