Our client is seeking a Security Architect to join their team for a freelance B2B contract that is expected to last 6 months, with potential for additional extensions. This position is fully remote but would require quarterly travel for workshops.

Responsibilities

Develop secure design documentation aligned with internal security policies and NCSC guidance. Create scoping documents and risk treatment plans for penetration testing and IT Health Checks. Conduct security assurance assessments, including coordination with external testing providers. Produce asset and control-based risk assessments for digital services and interdepartmental interactions. Prepare and present materials for governance approvals. Document and assure technical changes to mitigate identified risks. Collaborate with other departments and third-party suppliers to support secure data sharing.
