In this position, you will play a key role in running, maintaining, and securing data security applications and systems. Reporting into Critical Asset Protection, you will have opportunities to lead data protection and insider threat mitigation efforts for the company. **A Day in the Life:** + Collaborate with Architects and peer engineers to identify critical areas for improvement in the technology used, data protection tooling + Continuously provide insight into ways to apply existing technology more efficiently + Recommend new tools or workflows to bridge gaps and scale our security capabilities **Keys to Success:** + Build advanced monitoring and alerting systems related to data security for the entire enterprise + Ensure documentation and processes are well defined so that the engineered solutions are understood and repeatable. + Ensure solutions are well built, backed up & restore tested, and consistently maintained for health + Proactively communicate and collaborate with the business on maintaining our security posture. **Education** + Bachelor's Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, systems engineering, or related field.
