Location/Division Specific Information

Discover Impactful Work: This role has global responsibility for data security engineering within the Corporate Infrastructure & Security (CIS) team. In this position, you will play a key role in running, maintaining, and securing data security applications and systems. Reporting into Critical Asset Protection, you will have opportunities to lead data protection and insider threat mitigation efforts for the company.

A Day in the Life:

Collaborate with Architects and peer engineers to identify critical areas for improvement in the technology used, data protection toolingContinuously provide insight into ways to apply existing technology more efficientlyRecommend new tools or workflows to bridge gaps and scale our security capabilities

Keys to Success:

Build advanced monitoring and alerting systems related to data security for the entire enterpriseEnsure documentation and processes are well defined so that the engineered solutions are understood and repeatable.Ensure solutions are well built, backed up & restore tested, and consistently maintained for healthProactively communicate and collaborate with the business on maintaining our security posture.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, systems engineering, or related field. Equivalent work experience is acceptable1-3 years of related work experienceCertifications not required, but encouraged: CSSLP, CASE, GCIH, GSEC, GMON, GWEB, Network+, Security+ or related certifications

Experience

At least two years experience configuring security tools in an enterprise environmentStrong organization skills, leading sophisticated projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience building DLP, SIEM & SOAR workflows highly desired

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Strong problem-solving in both ambiguous and tactical situations with a bias for actionProven track record of engineering tool-agnostic solutions, and managing technology transitionsSecurity operations experience, including Insider Threat investigationsValidated flexibility and ability to perform in a multifaceted environmentForward-thinking to look around the corner and see what is comingDedication to excellence, high-quality standards, and attention to detail
