Fountain Tire is seeking a motivated Security Analyst to be a key player in our Information Systems team at our South Edmonton Corporate Head Office!
This role will protect the organization’s digital and physical assets by monitoring, detecting, and responding to threats across all areas of the business, including network, application, endpoint, data, identity, and cloud environments.

Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor and respond to security threats in collaboration with internal teams and external partnersConduct internal security assessments and penetration testing to evaluate system, application, and infrastructure risksImplement and maintain privileged access management (PAM) solutions, including configuration, policy enforcement, lifecycle management, access reviews, and integration with key systems to support least privilege and just-in-time access modelsSupport identity and access management (IAM) processes, including access governance, authentication controls, and troubleshooting of access issuesMaintain and tune endpoint and email security technologies to detect and block malware, phishing, and advanced persistent threatsMaintain and configure enterprise firewalls and Zero Trust network technologies, including site-to-site VPNs, secure remote access, cloud-based security platforms (e.g., SASE), and policy enforcement to support segmentation, access control, and continuous verificationHelp protect sensitive data through encryption, classification, and monitoring across systems.
Assist with incident response, user training, risk reviews, and ongoing improvements to security practices.
Participate in an on-call rotation and perform other duties as required, supporting the ongoing operation, incident response, and adaptability of the security program.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be consideredFamiliarity with vulnerability management, PAM, firewalls, endpoint protection and Zero trust technologies is an assetMust have a solid understanding of enterprise IT architecture and how security integrates across systemsExceptional technical troubleshooting, problem solving, and root-cause analysisAbility to adapt to evolving threats, technologies, and business requirementsWillingness to participate in on-call rotation and perform after-hours or weekend work when necessaryExcellent written and verbal communication ability, and organizational skills are essentialInterested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply on-line.
