Summary: As a Bunkhouse/Seafood Plant Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the bunkhouse facilities and the seafood processing plant. Your primary role will be to monitor the premises, prevent unauthorized access, respond to incidents, and maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors.

Note:  Security residing in Trident housing will be subject to a co-pay of fifteen dollars per day for room and board, for each day that at least 8 hours of work is offered.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular patrols of the bunkhouse and seafood plant areas to deter potential security breaches and maintain a visible security presence.Monitor security cameras, alarms, and access control systems to detect and respond to any suspicious activities or safety hazards promptly.Enforce company security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or other security-related incidents.Check identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises and restrict access to authorized personnel only.Collaborate with other security personnel and management to coordinate responses to emergencies and incidents.Document all security-related incidents, accidents, and observations in detailed reports.Provide assistance and support to emergency responders during critical situations.Respond to employee and visitor inquiries in a professional and helpful manner.Conduct inspections to ensure that safety regulations are adhered to and promptly report any safety hazards.Continuously monitor and improve security measures to enhance the overall safety and protection of the bunkhouse and seafood plant.

Additional Responsibilities: 

Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.May provide environmental support: basic monitoring, water sampling, meter readings, during off-season.May provide staff transportation and supply support.Other duties as assigned.
