Job Title: Security Administrative Assistant | Pay: $25/Hour | 5-Day on-site | 6 Month Contract-to-Hire
Job Description
This role involves providing vital administrative support to the security department. You will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining records related to issuing vehicle passes, badges, and property forms, as well as managing camera and laptop passes. You will also prepare recurring reports and track badge renewal dates for employees.
Responsibilities
+ Provide administrative support to the security department.
+ Coordinate and maintain records for vehicle passes, badges, property forms, and camera/laptop passes.
+ Support the maintenance of record-keeping systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
+ Prepare recurring reports and track badge renewal dates.
+ Collaborate closely with government customers, contractors, and other company departments.
+ Receive and screen phone calls and visitors.
+ Coordinate with on-duty security guards for access to the controlled industrial area.
+ Process government spreadsheets using MS Excel.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in administrative support and data entry.
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
+ Experience in security support.
+ Excellent communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School diploma.
+ 4-6 years of administrative experience, including databases and spreadsheets.
+ Experience with related government databases.
Work Environment
This is a fully onsite position with working hours from 5:30 am to 2:30 pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
