Position Overview:
As a Security Administrator within our Information Systems Security team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the security infrastructure for a large account. You will be responsible for managing incidents, problems, and changes, as well as ensuring the operational health and continuous evolution of security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and resolve security incidents and problems efficiently and effectively.
Oversee and implement changes within the security infrastructure following change management protocols.
Maintain operational conditions and uptime of security infrastructures to meet service level agreements.
Collect, analyze, and prioritize requests for security infrastructure evolution and improvements.
Support firewall, VPN, load balancers, proxy, and certificate management in line with organizational security policies.
Perform network analysis utilizing tools such as tcpdump for proactive threat detection and resolution.
Utilize Splunk for monitoring, logging, and user activity analysis.
Technical Skills and Experience:
Strong knowledge of firewalls, particularly Checkpoint, including security rules, NAT, and routing.
Experience with VPN technologies including SSL VPN (Ivanti) and IPSec VPN.
Proficiency with load balancers such as F5 LTM, ASM, and AFM.
Familiarity with proxy servers and network analysis methods.
Working knowledge of digital certificate management.
Basic experience with Splunk for security monitoring and log analysis.
Experience with Cisco mail gateways and web gateways is essential.
Soft Skills:
Strong teamwork abilities with a proactive and autonomous work style.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
A good command of English, both written and spoken, is recommended.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree or certifications in information security, networking, or related fields are preferred.
Previous experience in a security administration role supporting large accounts is an asset.
Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCNA Security) will be considered a plus.
