As a Security Access Control Technician, you will install and service the security access control systems throughout locations spanning from Palm Beach to Port St. Lucie. You will be responsible for the maintenance of locks, keys and security systems and ensure that all assigned security devices are in adequate working condition. Your work helps ensure the access is functioning where and when it needs to be for physicians and care teams to provide needed services to our patients. This role offers the opportunity to work with and master state of the art security systems and fosters a working relationship with ITD network and infrastructure teams. 

 

A caregiver in this position works Monday-Friday from 8:00AM – 4:30PM. 

 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

 

Install all components of various security systems, including security monitoring cameras, covert monitoring systems, remote transmitting systems and recording devices and "panic button" control switches. 

Analyze and troubleshoot system problems. 

Isolate defective circuits and test and replace or perform repairs. 

Maintain supply of electronic and digital circuit boards and components. 

Maintain devices or equipment and repairs schedule records. 

Be trained to perform duties of locksmith to include duplication of keys, key replacement and re-key of locks as necessary. 

 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

High School Diploma or GED 

One year of work experience with low voltage electronic or microprocessor access systems 

 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: 

Locksmith experience 

Physical Requirements:

Manual dexterity and ability to bend, stretch, climb ladders, and lift.

Color acuity required to identify color coded technical and electronic circuitry and wiring.

Requires frequent lifting and pushing or pulling up to 75 pounds.

Personal Protective Equipment:

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
