Baird is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate associate that thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of financial markets and operational processes, ensuring financial transactions are executed and accurately and efficiently. This person will be part of our Federal Settlement Team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing and reconciling the timely settlement of trades, identifying discrepancies, and working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth financial operations.

Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years related of experience in a financial services operations role is a plus.SIE and Series 99 within 120 days if role processes cash or security movements, otherwise SIE and Series 7 a plus.Knowledge of DTC and/or Bank of New York Fed clearance platforms, a plus.Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio). Advanced analytical skills with the ability to perform complex problem solving. Ability to handle multiple assignments; work under pressure and within deadlines and produce accurate, high quality results. Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks under strict deadlines. Passion for providing high-value client service.Ability to work independently and effectively, relating to others in order to accomplish work responsibilities and objectives.Diverse understanding of operational procedures and processes.Highly motivated individual who has a desire to learn, and an ability to think creatively in a demanding environment.#LI-CM1
