About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Securities Research Associate

In this role, you will:

Work on various work streams that form key components of Wells Fargo's Corporate Banking debt financing, F/X , and/or Rates products, across sectorsAssist in preparing Credit memos, credit reports or annual reviews for corporate clients including support in drafting company/borrower overviews, business description, industry overviews, corporate actions and in performing historical financial analysis and industry or peer analysisWork on borrower rating, capital structure and covenant analysisWork on publishing quarterly or annual earnings summaries for target portfolio companies and in tracking credit rating reports or equity reportsPrepare market or sector updates, sector newsletters to keep a track of key market developmentsMonitor and track covenant complianceSupport in drafting non-borrower reports, Annual credit reviews or CAC MemosDevelop excellent working knowledge of market database tools e.g. Fact set, Thomson one, Capital IQ, Moody's, S&P etc.Interact with multiple stakeholders to achieve the desired goalWould be required to operate in the GMT/British time zone providing real-time support to the EMEA stakeholders covering various products and sectors as part of the core team looking to add significant value to the India franchise

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Securities Research experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

MBA, CA, CFA or Masters in Finance from a premier education institute2+ years' experience in Corporate Banking, Credit research or Debt advisoryExperience in working in any of the following sectors: Consumer & Retail, Healthcare, TMT, FIG, Industrials or Energy & PowerStrong inclination towards building a career in Corporate Banking, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking or Capital MarketsGood understanding of Credit metrics, Covenants, Capital structure, financial statement and ratio analysisImpeccable communication and interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to interact with senior professionals and key stakeholdersStrong logical, analytical skills and a systematic problem-solving approachAbility to proficiently use Microsoft Office Applications - Power Point and ExcelStrong time management skills and ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlinesAttention to detail and ability to ensure high quality of deliverablesAbility to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and managementResults driven, accountable and ability to work with multiple priorities in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
