As a Securities Based Lending Analyst in the Latin America SBL team, you handle a high volume of risk credit transactions, including loans, letters of credit, and derivatives, all fully secured by high quality marketable securities with standard loan documentation. You help facilitate swift credit approvals and expedite loan documentation, focusing on credit worthiness and collateral evaluation.

Job Responsibilities

Partner with SBL Lenders through the lifecycle of credit requests and ongoing portfolio managementPrepare client analysis prior to underwriting, including pulling credit, generating collateral analysis, and preparing for loan grading and pricingReview lines of credit annually and build recommendations for renewal or modificationAnalyze client data across multiple systems and conduct preliminary credit reviewsReview loan documentation for accuracy and assist Lenders with documentation packagesEnsure documentation consistency with federal and local regulations

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Strong analytical skillsWorking knowledge of financial markets and asset vehicles (Mutual Funds, Equities, Fixed Income, Municipals)Interest in structuring credit transactionsAbility to interact effectively with internal stakeholders and external clientsAbility to learn about financial derivatives, investments, and wealth advisory capabilitiesAbility to complete projects with limited supervisionExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Spanish or Portuguese, in addition to EnglishBachelor’s degree in finance or related field
