Job Description
Join the Securities Administration Services group, where you will be responsible for processing complex transactions and reconcilements related to loan or security payments. This role involves providing remittance and correction information to servicers and monitoring pooled loans for non-compliance while communicating findings to investors. You'll evaluate servicer performance to ensure adherence to agreements, participate in system enhancements, and communicate processing exceptions across portfolios.
Responsibilities
+ Process complex transactions and reconcilements related to loan or security payments.
+ Provide remittance and correction information to servicers.
+ Monitor and analyze pooled loans to determine non-compliance and communicate findings to investors.
+ Evaluate servicer performance to ensure compliance with agreements.
+ Participate in system enhancements by attending user group meetings and testing.
+ Communicate processing exceptions relevant to similar series across individual portfolios.
+ Maintain a working knowledge of Collateral, Securities, Default, or Trust Administration.
+ Train junior staff and review their processing and reconciliations.
+ Propose recommendations and implement automated solutions on an ongoing basis.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and V Look Up.
+ Strong business analysis and finance skills.
+ Ability to interpret controlling legal documents related to collateral or bond payments.
+ Bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business, or related field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Preferably 1+ year of experience in Financial Services, including internship experience.
+ Strong analytical and data entry skills.
+ Growth opportunities upward through the organization.
+ Remote flexibility, except during large conferences or team meetings.
Work Environment
The work environment is team-oriented and task-based, with a focus on meeting deadlines. Expect a hybrid schedule, with some training on-site and large team meetings monthly in Columbia, MD. The role may require overtime during peak analysis periods.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
