Secretary Support Assistant

Job Summary and Responsibilities

Performs clerical duties, coordinates departmental communication, and assists with departmental and selected patient care related activities. This position interacts with personnel of all ages. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support the
Organization's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP)

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:

Clear understanding of office proceduresGood writing and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED:

High School Diploma or GED, upon hirePrior experience as a Unit Secretary in anacute care setting preferred, upon hireBasic Life Support - CPR, upon hireCourse in medical terminologyCompletion of a Unit Secretary training program preferredAbility to type 35 wpm and have technical skills with word processingWhere You'll Work
