Secretary - Nurse-Family Partnership - Part Time
Position Summary: Guthrie Towanda Memorial Hospital is the implementing agency of Nurse‐Family Partnership. This position will provide support to all NFP, which includes answering phones, data entry, preparing client charts and general office support. Education, License & Cert: High School Grad or Equivalent. Experience: Proficient at all computer applications specifically Microsoft Office 365 (OneDrive, Sharepoint, Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel). Minimum two years secretarial experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. An individual who is professional and compassionate. A Nurse‐Family Partnership graduate is preferred but not required. Essential Functions: 1. Responsible for entering all data required by the National Service Office of NFP and the Commonwealth of PA. 2. Responsible for answering all phone calls and directing those calls to the appropriate person(s 3. Responsible for creating start‐up charts, infant charts, and toddler charts for the nurse home visitors. Ensure that extra copies of required forms are available for staff to use. 4. Responsible to maintain inventory of client support materials and office supplies and order as needed. 5. Assist with all events planned for NFP clients throughout the year. Includes calling and booking venues, negotiating fees, identifying, and securing items needed to successfully host event. 6. All tasks related to ensure that the department runs efficiently and meets all standards set forth for the department by the entity, the State, and the National Service Office. Other Duties: 1. Participation in community and employee engagement activities is required. 2. Assumes responsibility for ongoing learning in relations to program implementation. 3. Actively promotes program within the community. 4.
