Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Systems Engineer to join their ground vehicles team, sitting in Aberdeen, MD. This role will keep you on the cutting edge of systems engineering, modeling, simulation, and RF signal and data processing techniques through the use of state of the art engineering tools that support the advancement of the Armys next generation of radar for ground vehicles. This Systems Engineer will join the on-going Science and Technology (S&T) efforts at one of the Armys premier R&D Centers at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. As part of the team supporting advanced radar capabilities development, youll have access to state-of-the-art engineering and modeling tools and subject matter expertise in the areas of radar, modeling and simulation, and software/hardware development for current and future Army radar and sensor systems. Working as part of a high-caliber, dynamic team, you will support the advancement of approaches to develop and implement new radar concepts within a laboratory environment. Youll support technical coordination with internal and external organizations to address requirements definition, use case development, and subsystem integration. Youll have an opportunity to influence the development of next-generation advanced radar capabilities that will include being part of a high-performing team that will research, design, develop, and collaborate across programs to achieve end-to-end solutions, providing new analytic, statistical, radio-frequency signal and visual analysis capabilities. Responsibilities Include:
Provide engineering support to radar science and technology efforts
Lead the development of system architectures and the integration of software and hardware subsystems
Lead and assist in meetings to negotiate solutions across subsystems and disciplines (software, hardware, modeling, and analysis)
Manage and lead systems engineering Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
$50hr to $70hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements
· 3+ years of experience in radar and/or other RF system design, development, engineering, test, evaluation, and data analysis
· Experience with all aspects of systems engineering, including developing, designing, allocating, and managing user and system-level requirements
· Hands-on experience in test and evaluation planning of a new system
· Systems engineering applied to ground- or air-based radar, communications, or RF systems
· Object-oriented programming knowledge
· Experience with DoD systems engineering processes and tools, including DOORS and DoDAF
· BS Degree in STEM or related technical field
· Minimum Active Secret Clearence · Experience with Matlab and C++ programming
· Systems engineering experience with radar/RF software and hardware subsystems
· Experience developing systems architectures/frameworks
· Goal-oriented with excellent people skills, ability to work in a team environment, strong work ethic, and proactive in all manners related to the job null
