Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Secret Junior Systems Administrator in Dahlgren, Virginia. This Junior System Administrator must have 3+ years of experience with delivering technical guidance and customer support for hardware and software systems. This role requires a Secret Clearance, but a Top Secret Clearance is preferred. A DoD Directive 8570.1 Information Assurance Technical Level II certification and high school diploma are also required. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing and solving network issues, installing software releases and patches, and assisting with system upgrades on Windows 10 computers and in LAN/WAN environments. This Administrator will also perform hardware support for scanners, printers, Common Access Cards (CAC), and Intel x86 based PC's. An understanding of Windows Active Directory and Windows operating systems that are Microsoft supported, as well as knowledge of Department of Defense (DOD) networking and security accreditation processes are required. Strong communication skills to work alongside the Information Assurance Officer (IAO) and the IT Help Desk for system accreditation and ticket support are also important. This Administrator will also be managing data files, system configurations, and mailboxes to maintain accuracy. The salary range for this candidate ranges from $70,000-$80,000, depending on experience.
